Keiki of all ages and experience levels are welcome at Kailua Music School where private lessons and group classes are offered in vocals and a variety of instruments. An introductory class lets kids try out different instruments to see what interests them. There also are classes in songwriting, music production and engineering.

UFC Gym Youth Program
Fitness and fun are in store at UFC Gym’s Kailua location where youth from age 6 to 15 can take classes in boxing, mixed martial arts, wrestling and even a boot camp for kids. All are geared to building athletic skills, coordination, strength and self-confidence.

Boys & Girls Club

Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii Windward Clubhouse
Located on the Kailua Intermediate School campus, BGCH Windward has a robust program of after-school activities for youth ages 7 to 17, from cooking classes and crafts to video production and computer game design. Homework help and tutoring is available, too. For an affordable annual membership fee ($25/year for elementary and middle school; $10 for high school; free for military dependents), kids have access to all of the Clubhouse’s regular programs. Intersession programs are available for an additional cost.
