A Block Party for a “Beautiful” Cause
It’s that time of year when food tents, Windward O‘ahu artists and handcrafters line Kailua Town’s main street; ongoing stage entertainment fills the air; and the community shows up in droves for the annual “I Love Kailua” Town Party. Look for in-store and sidewalk sales offered by Kailua merchants, and check out the keiki fun zone, orchid and plant sales, and community information booths.
Taking place on Sunday, April 26th from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., this family-friendly event is sponsored by the Lani-Kailua Outdoor Circle and, with Alexander & Baldwin also as proud sponsors. For more than three decades, the event has raised funds for the organization’s many beautification and tree-planting projects throughout Kailua.
Admission is free, but partygoers are encouraged to purchase the collectible Town Party event buttons and limited-edition “I Love Kailua” logo merch to support LKOC’s community-enhancing work. Get more info here.
