By July 7, 2025No Comments

It’s only July which means more long days ahead to get out of the house and enjoy Kailua Town’s seasonal events and outdoor activities with family and friends.

Find Your Adventure on the Ocean

Ready to try a new water sport? Looking for fun things to do with out-of-town visitors? These Kailua Town outfitters can set you up for an ocean adventure on a hot summer day.

Aaron’s Dive Shop offers snorkeling tours, scuba experiences for beginners, lessons, and certified scuba diving charters. Their shop is stocked with gear for purchase as well as rental equipment.

Active Oahu is a one-stop rental shop for a day on the water or on the beach: SUPs, boogie boards, and kayaks; snorkeling gear; roof racks, beach chairs and umbrellas, and more. Book a guided kayak tour to the Mokulua Islands or Popoi’a Island and Kailua Bay.

Hawaiian WaterSports is a shop for “surf and wind sports” enthusiasts and beginners. From eFoiling and wing foiling, to kiteboarding and stand-up paddling, HWS offers private and group lessons, equipment rentals and sales, and tours for all skill levels.

Kailua Beach Adventures is within walking distance to Kailua Beach and offers half-day, full-day, and multi-day rentals of kayaks, paddleboards, surfboards, body boards, snorkel gear, and beach necessities. SUP lessons and guided tours in Kailua Bay and Lanikai are available, too. KBA’s retail shop carries eco-friendly products for the beach as well as custom-designed tees and other apparel.
