Kanikapila – Ledward Ka’apana

Join us every second Saturday of the month from 4 – 5:30pm for our free music series in the Kailua parking garage (behind Longs/CVS). February will feature music by Ledward Ka’apana.

Ledward “Led” Kaapana is a legendary Hawaiian musician and master of slack key guitar and ukulele, celebrated for his baritone and falsetto singing and for helping bring traditional Hawaiian music to audiences worldwide. Over a career spanning more than four decades, he’s earned multiple Nā Hōkū Hanohano and Grammy nominations and was awarded a National Heritage Fellowship, the U.S. government’s highest honor in folk and traditional arts.
